NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Setpoint today announced that it served as third-party review provider for FIGRE Trust 2026-EXP2, a $316.3 million securitization of home equity lines of credit sponsored by Figure Technology Solutions, the leading blockchain-native capital marketplace for the origination, funding, sale and trading of tokenized assets. The transaction closed August 31, 2026. Morningstar DBRS rated the deal.
Setpoint combines purpose-built technology with expert diligence professionals to streamline the document-intensive work that supports securitization. Its platform structures loan files, extracts required information, and links reviewed data to its source documentation, giving reviewers a more accurate and traceable foundation for review.
Backed by Citi and Wells Fargo, Setpoint brings deep institutional credibility. Its diligence team has more than 60 years of combined experience, its practice has been reviewed by S&P Global Ratings, Fitch Ratings, Morningstar DBRS, and KBRA, and it supports 16+ asset classes, including HELOCs, closed-end second liens, non-QM, DSCR, and RTL.
Stuart Wall, Co-Founder and CEO of Setpoint, said:
“Lending has been transformed at the point of origination, but much of the infrastructure behind it still operates the way it did decades ago. Figure shows why that has to change. Technology gives us an opportunity to rebuild the back end of asset-backed finance for the speed and complexity of today’s market.”
